Day to Night #1

Day to Night with your peplum

DTN peplum

Before going into each outfit a little further, I just want to briefly explain the concept behind the Day to Night outfits. Although some of you may be thinking, well it’s pretty self-explanatory, the rest of us, if you’re anything like me, might be questioning what this is all about.

So what are my day to night articles? You know those tightly packed schedule days: you’ve got a full day of lectures, a full day at work, or just a full day of being busy and suddenly you remember you’ve made plans in the evening. What am I going to wear? Will I have time to get changed? Suddenly the questions are running through your mind and with us ladies always wanting to look good, even the best of panic a little.

In these articles, my aim is to show you how easy it can be to switch up your day outfit, into a perfect going out in the evening outfit.

So there you have it, without having to change any of my clothes, I transformed my day outfit into a night outfit. Taking off those pieces that made my day outfit a casual one and adding a few minor bits of glam and some stunner heels. Although, I do have to admit, my night outfit would have been perfect with a statement piece silver necklace, however, I am currently only allowing myself to buy 5 items a month (in terms of clothing) so making do with what I have, otherwise I will end up back in the position I was when I first started the blog as mentioned in my introduction. (I will soon be blogging my 5 items a month after my exams.)

Lastly, I have to say, I think a peplum top is essential in a wardrobe. I played it safe with getting a white one and this has allowed me make so many outfits with it that my possibilities are endless! Peplum’s are a great figure enhancer and well, honestly, I just can not get enough of mine. I will most definitely be doing a many way to wear article with my peplum for those of you that still need convincing and I can guarantee that it will still be popping up in my outfits of the day. And one thing I can guarantee, having one of these in your wardrobe will help save you money purely because you can create so many looks and styles with it.

Lots of love…

When you first showed me the anklets I was a bit apprehensive but I actually LOVE how they look with the heels. Looks like they’re part of the shoes! You’ve hardly changed anything but the outfits look so different, will take some inspiration from this! xx
